How can you say he's NOT the best boy in MP? Well, except for Blobert's, or maybe Valerie's. That smug sprite he has is literally the best sprite in the game. He's like the friend where I'd be like "wtf, why are you like this" (I'm talking about the Yaoi) but also like "I would literally die for you, no hesitation". Not gonna lie, he's literally what my best friend would be if I could choose. There's not much fanfiction about the game yet but DAMN would I love to see a fic with badass, godlike monster Oz. And the potential for a terrifying, eldritch horror they could be.
I also like how they're basically accepted as nonbinary. Oz is another character I love because they've got the most potential for a trope I love: the shy kid who turns out to have an intense side (whether it's getting enraged over a friend getting hurt by someone or turning out to be terrifyingly evil) ((or maybe a really kinky side)). He reminds me of Bakugou from My Hero Academia, but like, softer. Damien was my first successfully romanced character, and will forever remain special in my heart. There's so many possible interpretations of the player Characters that it makes for an interesting fandom and equally interesting gameplay. But if you choose Amira and pursue Polly, you'll be more fun. If you choose Amira and pursue Damien, for an example, you'll have to be more bold with your choices. I've never seen something like that, and maybe it's not as impressive as I think it is, but I think it makes the player alot more flexible with their chosen character's personality. I think it's cool how every answer is the right answer (unless it gets you a heart, in which case there is a wrong answer but even so, you just get a heart for a different character) if you have enough of the stat it checks. Not just because of the numerous endings, outcomes, and events, but because of the way the game works. I think that Monster Prom is one of the most interesting dating Sims I've seen.
